We are very excited that our Ladywood District Composer Xhosa Cole, will be working with a group of young people from the Deaf Cultural Centre in Ladywood, to collect and create sounds and stories from the local area.
The UK’s first and only Deaf Cultural Centre opened its doors in 2007 and provides a space in which deaf culture is celebrated, explored and represented through a number of art and community projects as well as social events.
