We are pleased to announce that our Year 2 artistic partner working in Erdington district is Flatpack Projects: and they say what they do best of all:
“As the name suggests, Flatpack is infinitely portable. For over ten years we have been setting up projectors in interesting places, and our year-round work has included community archive projects, family tours, pedal-powered screenings, film-tents at music festivals, bespoke short film programmes, pub gigs, DVD compilations, animation workshops and plenty more besides. Essentially, we love taking films to new audiences, as well as using screenings to start a conversation or to shed new light on a place. And we’re always open to ideas.”
We’ll be announcing their selected composer very soon! We are very excited that this Erdington Commission will cover both moving image and sound!
